Alberto Urretxo

Carlos Benetó
Founding member of the Spanish Brass Luur Metalls (1989) with that collected several awards, the most significant was the 1st Prize International Competition for Brass Quintets "Ville de Narbonne" (France) in 1996. Since then, without interruption, the work on chamber music is the main goal in his career.

Christian Léger
Empieza a tocar la trompeta a los siete años con un músico aficionado que tocaba el bugle en la fanfarria de su pueblo.Posteriormente, empieza sus estudios en el Conservatorio Nacional de Dijon y, luego, en el Conservatorio Nacional Superior de París, donde obtiene el 1er premio por unanimidad.

Fábio Brum
Fábio was born in Rio de Janeiro. During his career he has won several prizes at major Solo Competitions including: First Prize at the 2009 Concurso Internacional de Trompeta Juan García Marín, "Judge's Prize" at the 2008 Ellsworth Smith International Trumpet Competition and First Prize at the 2003 National Trumpet Competition College Etude Division.

At 14 he played his first concert with the Symphonic Orchestra of Valencia. He studied with teachers like Leopoldo Vidal, Pierre Thibaud, Thomas Stevens, Bo Nilsson, Claude Vasse, Peter Masseurs, Max Sommerhalder, and H. Handerberger.

Luis González
Luis was born in Silla, Valencia and he started his trumpet studies at the Musical Association School “La Lírica” of Silla with the teacher Eduarto Tarín. Later he began his studies at the High Conservatory of Music of Valencia, he studied with the teacher Leopoldo Vidal and achieved the Prize of Honor at the end of the career.

From 1990 to 1993 he perfected his technique at the Conservatoire National de Région, Versailles (France) under Daniel Bourgue, where he specialised, winning First Prize and Gold Medal.

In 1989 five Spanish musicians created an eclectic and innovative project that they have been developing over the years in different fields: music performance, education and creation. Today they tour all over the world, with courses intended for chamber music and recordings.

Unai Urrecho
Urrecho is currently professor at the Suwon University after serving for 5 years as a Principal Trombonist of the Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a very active musician playing trombone concertos, recitals and chamber music concerts around the world.

Professor Uwe Kleindienst is our figurehead, since 2007, in Germany. Since 2008 he combines classes in the trumpet department of the Leopold Mozart Center for Music at the Augsburg University with his career.
